Crystal Palace make five changes to the side that drew with Newcastle in their last game. Defender Pape Souare makes his debut for the club while Scott Dann, Yannick Bolasie, Dwight Gayle and Fraizer Campbell all come in.

Mario Balotelli's goalscoring heroics against Tottenham have not earned him a place in the starting XI for Liverpool. He is on the bench, with Daniel Sturridge leading the line. Instead, Brendan Rodgers' two changes sees Joe Allen and Adam Lallana make starts.
