Bafetimbi Gomis leads the line for Swansea, who sold fellow striker Wilfried Bony to Manchester City earlier this week. Boss Garry Monk makes two changes in total as Dutch international Dwight Tiendalli makes his first league start of the season. Striker Nelson Oliveira is also included for the first time since joining on loan from Benfica.
Gary Cahill returns to the Chelsea XI and slots into defence alongside John Terry. Filipe Luis replaces the injured Cesar Azpilicueta while Petr Cech continues in goal.
