Why do they have to put a rapper on every single pop song now? It doesn't even sound good!

Kendrick Lamar is rapping two verses on a fucking Taylor Swift song. Who thought this was a good idea it's out of control now

inB4 jew media cucking everyone

They're usually producers and I guess they just want to advertise themselves.

Yeah I'm not hating on rap but I just can't see the appeal of mixing the two on literally every song in the top 10 hits.
I can't picture 2pac rapping to its all about that base.

Pop is the least complex genre of modern mainstream music and rap is the most complex genre of modern mainstream music. So pop takes from rap so pop can be taken more seriously.

Neither can I tbh. But It wasn't a label thing, I know Taylor genuinely likes Kendrick.

HipHop is popular right now so I guess pop artists are just taking a liking? Don't know who cares

Rap is gay, it's the worst fucking thing to ever happen to American Society. Mixing these niggers in with whites has damned our country, lowered our IQ and created a breeding ground for a new generation of fuck idiots. Fuck rap and niggers.

Of modern mainstream music, that is. Which isn't a high standard.

I agree sometimes but I don't see the hate in this case. Kendrick is a good rapper, Taylor is a good singer. The song was catchy. Get over it.

But in general I agree all the collabs can get a bit annoying.

Fair nuff, would trance e.g tiesto, axwell be considered mainstream now? Not trancefag but that does require some thought to making their songs

Who's generalizing now? Let's not sit here and pretend the black creative community "in general" does not push toward the thug lifestyle. All I have to do is roll down my window at any stop light intersection to hear the proof, or see any black kid walking down the road with half his underwear showing cuz his pants are hanging off his ass to see the proof.
