Calling all tinnitus/audio engineer /music/.

Is it just me, or does the sound of a vacuum, from afar really fucking hurt?

Not because of volume, but because of high frequency or something. I'm not sure but whenever I here my neighbours vacuum I get infuriated at the damn sound and have to wear ear muffs.

Also, i'm getting my ears checked this week.
