Will Jews ever resume proselytizing?

They have not done so in about two millenniums.

They have plenty of religious freedom in the world and the conflict between Israel and Palestine won't last forever.

Is about time for them to once again begin recruiting converts?

I believe the Jews have the right idea in this area. It should be the individual who chooses to join the religion, not the religion's job to go out and convert or recruit potential new members. Proselytizing may have been legitimate and justified in the past, but in the age of communication, there is certainly enough opportunity for individuals who may consider becoming members of one group or other, religious or otherwise, to research the group and what membership in it would involve, and make the choice for themselves - without prodding. The decision should begin with the individual, not the group, although further research and communication with the group would seem logical to ensure that this is really a wise decision - for them.
