Hollywood screen legend Carrie Fisher

That's how CNN referred to her as............
Legend??
Wow, we're laying it on a little thick, aren't we, kids?
I mean, I liked her as Leia, and I give her major props for being able to handle her cocaine well enough to hang with the big boys like Belushi, Aykroyd, and Billy Dee Williams..........and I'm sad that she's dead.
But Hollywood screen legend? Ehhhhh..........
If anyone can name one thing she did besides Star Wars and The Blues Brothers, I will be impressed.

Meryl Streep was in it, semi-autobiographical account of Fisher's life.
Can't remember if it was any good, but depending on how true it was she had kind of a screwy life.

I have her autobiographical film Wishful Drinking on one of my watchlists.

Definitely, Carrie Fisher had a crazy life right from the get-go.
You would think growing up rich in Hollywood would be great, and it probably overall is..........but I'm sure it's a little bizarre as well, with lots of traps to fall into.

Was she a great actress? No friggin' way. The definition of overacting is "watch Carrie Fisher in STAR WARS." But I have to say those three films would have been very different without her -- and not better different. She wasn't the greatest actress (she was NEVER going to win an Oscar), but she was just about perfect for those films. Too bad an Oscar (and a Sandusky) eluded her.

Would you give a Sandusky to a beloved celebrity???
