Looking back at the footage of Boris Johnson and the other Brexiteers 'winning', and remembering Trump's uncharacteristically lowkey and even shell-shocked reactions to the respective results of the EU referendum and US election, it seemed that none of them actually wanted to win. They were just protesting and/or engaging in self-promotion, and were looking forward to whining and moaning about the result.

I think Trump may have only wanted to promote himself, but things got out of hand when he actually started winning primaries.

Johnson even wrote a memerandum against a Brexit.
He acted against his own conviction.

I think I see where you're going wrong: Johnson helped the cause, and we'll forever be grateful to him, but he's not truly a "Brexiteer" at heart.

Yes on both counts, as both countries have gone to sh!t in which the people hate & welcome it to be fixed.

Personally, I would prefer to live in a country like the Phillipines, rather than the USA, if I had to make the choice. Duterte admits, and even boasts, that he has killed drug pushers. Trump just brags and boast about grabbing women by the crotch. tRump is a fat fãggot, leading a nation of fãggots, who are masturbating themselves in an orgy of self destruction. Duterte is at least honest. tRump is at best, a liar.

You do realize that Trump likes him and agrees with what he does, so you are basically agreeing with Trump.
