Some people love to bring up all the bad thing the West have done in the past (despite that non-western civilizations have done much of the same, like slavery, which includes European slaves), and thinks the world would be better off without.

It makes me think of Monty Python's Life of Brian: "Apart from the sanitation, the medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, the fresh-water system, and public health, what have the Romans ever done for us?"

What have the West ever done for the world?

Well, there is the computer, penicillin, planes, trains, cars, steam engine, combustion engine, television, telephone, radio, rockets, electronics, photographic film, movie projectors, bicycle, microscope and sound recording etc etc.

Apart for that, I guess there's not much noteworthy.

The definition of evil is really deception. The deceivers are the true evil in the world, just like their master, the ultimate deceiver. We live in a time of incredible evil.
