Everything good from the 80s has been hijacked by SJW.

Everything good from the 80s has been hijacked and turned into SJW......propaganda. Ghostbusters, Star Wars, Star Trek, MTV, superheroes etc... Hollywood aka Soddam and Gamorrah needs to be replaced with an entertainment industry that doesn't promote deviant behavior. Right now there is a monopoly on entertainment, and monpolies are never a good thing.

I've heard they're planning to reboot Punky Brewster.

Let me guess, a little girl adopted by 2 gay guys?

The last season of Punky Brewster coincided with th first season of My Two Dads.

"My Two Dads" weren't gay, though.

I don't know. Star Trek is from the sixties; Star Wars from the Seventies.
This seems like more of a /tele/ topic, brah.

Both remained big in the 80s so my point stands.

No it doesn't, moron.
What about things from the 80's that have remained big today?

At least Ghostbusters is unscathed, right?

"Right now there is a monopoly on entertainment, and monpolies are never a good thing."
What monopoly? What is preventing conservatives from making their own movies and such? It's just that conservative movies tend to be awful religious propaganda pieces instead of trying to be entertaining or good.

Because the rich Hollywood execs used to all be right-wing Reaganites, but these days they're now all Hillary shills (still conservatives though). And they're the ones with the exclusive power to make well-financed movies.

Conservatives are free to start their own film studios. If their movies are successful then we'd probably see more conservative leaning movies from Hollywood as well.

Starting up a film studio is not cheap.

Problem is people the vast majority as a cultural force don't know what to fight for, so they repeat the fight of previous generations. They should be focused on things like globalization, water, the fact that automation is probably going to create a permanent underclass of workers unless serious reforms are made to education, and the collusion of wealth and government. But no, people are still hung up on feminism and racism. To their credit, there are still many people who make those fights worth fighting (nearly finishing the race ain't finishing the race) but sometimes I think those fights only exist because there's a presence fighting back. Like a reverse-reverse virus.
Those items from the 80's and beyond always have messages. Rarely is any entertainment completely morally ambiguous and politically free. Star Trek depicted a future of an interracial workforce where aliens and the like got on as they were normal people. Star fleet is a sort of intergalactic United Nations, seeking new worlds to nourish and manage, though not necessarily wanted by all. Superheroes are usually wonderful people whose alter-egos are most like their fans. Insecure, lonely, usually young people who're loved when they're not themselves. People who're insecure about their powers until they learn their perceived flaws are actually their greatest strengths. Many superheroes are people who at the beginning feel powerless but they're not at all.
They also all tinker with ideas. Would Bruce Wayne's wealth do more good than Batman's hitting people? Can the world police Superman? Homophobia and racism in the X-Men? Captain America (writes itself).
In short, pretty much everything is propaganda to some extent.

Had liberals continued to have power, I could see a comedy show in the future about a pedophile and his child lover.
16 Name: Anonymous : 2016-12-05 12:24
They could call it the "John Pedo Podesta Show.

"I could see a comedy show in the future about a pedophile and his child lover. "
Herbert from Family Guy is getting a spinoff?

lol the Star Wars and super hero movies have all been well received. Having women and people of color in lead roles doesn't mean a movie has been hijacked by SJWs, it just means people aren't idiots. Try harder next time.

Well received depends on who you talk to.

Those two points aren't bad in my opinion.
