Ive been stopped by the cops for no reason several times, but I'm white so I don't think of it as anything other than a-hole cops. That's how everybody else sees it too. Had I been black, everyone would see it as proof that cops harass black people.

I've never known anyone white that can say this... ever.

I've even discussed it with many blacks claiming to have been pulled over for no reason. Upon occasion it appears to be true, yet in many cases after discussion it turns out someone in the back seat didn't have their seat belt on, they were driving four miles an hour over the speed limit, tail light out, no turn signal... these are all reasons they can pull you over.

Ok, when I say "no reason" I mean "bullschitt reasons". Once for driving 4 mph over the speed limit, another time because I slightly weaved in an empty parking lot while turning the heater on leaving work one cold night.

Technically "reasons", but that's not the point, the point is if I were black this would be my personal tale of woe with the police (along with one other incident while I was not driving), and proof of how racist society is.

I went to jail and my car impounded in Miami in 1985 for an expired tag... expired 4 days.

Alabama tag in Miami, leaving a late night club at 4:00 AM. Pulled me over, put me in cuffs, put me in the back of his car. Tore my car apart looking for drugs. I didn't even drink at that age, so needless to say he found nothing of what he was certain he would. This apparently enraged him.

Hate to butt in but I'm white and have been stopped by cops for no reason several times both driving and on foot. (I'm Italian though and at times have something of a "dirtbag Terrone" look and style.)

I have as well. I can tell you about some really messed up stories. Makes me think if I was black it would have even much worse! The 90s were a rough time.

There is a greater overall number of whites shot than blacks. But if you look at the percentage of whites compared to blacks population wide that is no shocker. An individual black person is more at risk than an individual white person.

Well I don't know what the statistics are there but put any black in used car and average clothes, it doesn't matter how much money he makes, if he's in a high crime area, he's going to be pulled over. Now if he's driving a new 600 series, and not in his doctors clothes and tie, he can still be messed with. Go on YouTube you can find firemen and others that after getting pulled over and mess with regularly, they put a camera recording in their car and flashed their firefighters badge, and acted according to their rights and asked to see a supervising officer. Needless to say, this community hero firefighter got death threats by cops. If you go look, avoid those nuts being jerks to cops trying to get the cops to do something illegal like drag them through a smashed window and sue them. When a cop gives you respect, you give him respect. Before the elections and BLM, cops were getting far better then the 90's crapshow where they often immediate treated you like dirt unless you were an old lady.
