He wants to give Americans all an equal opportunity against the rest of the world. He's providing free college and medical care for all citizens. How is that a bad thing? You get to go to college for free, and have medical care while doing so. I paid for college and risked going 6 years without medical care. It sucked.

50 years ago, a high school diploma was the equivalent to what a bachelor degree is today. 50 years ago, we provided you free education up to a high school diploma. If we provided you the minimum that was needed to yesterday, then why not provide you the minimum to what is needed today?

Therefore, if a high school diploma 50 years ago is equivalent to a bachelors degree today, and we give high school diplomas for free, then we should be providing the equivalent today for free as well. Which is the bachelors.

omg equal opportunity?? colleges would be overpacked with WHITE KIDS...you still need to take a placement test to get into community college. Only kids from decent communities will be accepted into community colleges.

Kids living in the ghettos with their horrendous public grade schools will not get accepted into this 'free college' bs. Most of them can't read or write.

some public grade schools don't have AC or a heating system. They do not have books or computers. They have puddles or mold in their gyms..roofs leaking...

How dare Bernie cater towards rich white students that do not want to work for their college. If they do not have college funds then go to community college for two years and transfer. That's not good enough for them?

Fixing public grade schools would necessitate putting many librul teachers out of work. They've done nothing but grind the system to the fine machine it is today.
