Come on, racists - let's have a heated debate.
The girls in Rotherham weren't snatched off the street and bundled into the back of vans. They were groomed by handsome guys in their early twenties, who they considered their boyfriends.
These rapists got them hooked on drink or drugs, and then told them they needed to have sex with other men if they wanted to continue the relationship. If they didn't comply, they were threatened with violence.
That's pimping. There are 85,000 girls working the red light districts of the UK tonight who will tell you a similar story, and 70% of them started when they were the same age as the children who were horribly abused in Rotherham.
Why is Rotherham a scandal, when exactly the same thing happens to 5,000 children every single day? Why isn't that headline news? Why isn't that an emergency?
