Here comes a virus that prevent the fetal brain from developing. An organism that attacks the very core of what it means to be human; the brain. I am not saying it is a human-designed biological weapon, but if one could think of anything totally demonic, this would be it. It gives me the creeps to think that a virus like this could be the death-knell of the human race.

I'll add to the conspiracy theory, some are accusing Bill Gates of being at fault for this by releasing GM Mosquitos into the wild that are resistant to Malaria. Whether it's true who knows but I've never liked the idea of tampering with mother nature to such a large degree.

This is a really scary disease. It attacks humans in our most vulnerable state. Is it just another symptom of over=population, I wonder?

Overpopulation is often a contributing factor to the spread of these diseases. Viruses that were previously hiding in the jungle (like Ebola) are coming into ever greater contact with humans as human populations expand.

It is scary personally because my Uncle is in Brazil working there and his wife recently got pregnant.
