Why is Chicago so Segregated?

1 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-28 11:15
I feel it's the most segregated major city in the USA. There are white areas and there are black areas and some Hispanic areas etc. very few diverse areas.

Then you get to the suburban parts and it's all white.

I am not one that's against segregation or for it. I'm indifferent. But I wonder how a major city like that allows this to continue and doesn't strive for more integration the way other cities do in 2016.

I just find it odd.

PS people think us southern boys are racist. Please. Midwestern and Northern boys are more racist than us. Eastern also. Some of the biggest racists I met were in NYC

Chicago has tons of black and Hispanic suburbs. Tons.
3 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-28 15:08
So, still segregated then.
4 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-28 16:25
They're certainly not all white, like he claimed.
5 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-28 21:19
Chicago is nigger town.

PS people think us southern boys are racist. Please.

I'm from the Northeast and currently living in the south. I've come across a lot more judgmental racists down here than I ever have up north. Southern Hospitality is just a façade.

I would believe you if you weren't a gay man pretend to be a mixed woman.

Also depends where you go. Overall we are much kinder.

I really don't care what you believe.

I'm telling you what I've experienced. I prefer to be around blunt azzholes who tell me straight to my face rather than behind my back.

I found the exact opposite. People in the South are much more genial than those in the North. I have lived in both too. The people I have had issues with here in Florida are almost always from the Northeast. Especially NY and Boston. I have told a couple of them that if they didnt like it here to go back.

people in the south may be as discriminatory but they're usually a lot better at being civil about it.

and IME southern women do tend to be really sweet.

'I prefer to be around blunt azzholes who tell me straight to my face rather than behind my back.'
----------------------------
We meet again. You're the one who thinks everybody is racist because they are blunt. And here you are calling people azzholes. Young, are you, to have experienced so much? Don't mind me: I'm just being "blunt".
12 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-29 22:02
What are you talking about? People accuse me of being racist more than I accuse anyone of being racist. I am
Blunt and non PC. Stupid.

Just proved you're a lying troll with that comment

Unless you're referring to NYC then yes. Cause racists have no business moving to a city like NYC. You won't see me living in that cesspool
13 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-29 23:02
I AM NOT speaking ABOUT RACISM--BUT YOU IN GENERAL.

I don't feel bad for him since he made his own choices - which I'll assume were informed ones. However, I do think the cost of a post-secondary education in America is far too expensive and would prefer that tuition costs were a third (or less) than they currently are.

You're the one who thinks everybody is racist because they are blunt.

If I smell a racist, then yes, I'll point that out. I'd rather they be upfront so I can steer clear of them. Is that alright with you or do I need your permission?

Young, are you, to have experienced so much?

I've experienced quite a lot in my young life, some things I wouldn't wish on anyone. Not sure what your point is.

'If I smell a racist, then yes, I'll point that out.'

You NEED to smell one for you self-fulfillment as one of the victims of society. And I can smell cynicism and paranoia also. You may need to visit and Ear, Nose & Throat doctor to test your smell.

Now you're just making things up. I am happy and doing quite well in life and will continue to call out people like yourself who lump an entire race of individuals into one category.

NO I am not lumping an entire race because that would be illogical. However, at the same time, do not toss the word 'racism' when a very high percentage behave in a certain way. Today, anything that speaks of the truth, even in a benign way, is a prime opportunity for minorities to extract racism from it. As I mentioned before, take it up with your peers as to why they set a bad rep.

Do you want the actual cost to be less or do you just want someone else to pick up more of the cost?
20 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-30 01:18
'Not sure what your point is.'
-----------------------
..I'm sure.

So, Miss rissa-rissa wants us to know that she's from a rough background, and a little toughie due to it. Fine, just be careful with your new-found
"I point things out" persona, so you don't self-defeat. Black, right?
21 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-30 01:19
Black, right?

What's it to you?
22 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-30 01:20
'What's it to you?'
-----------------------------
ah,the important thing is what it is to you, and how it affects you vision of people and the world

My family is from upstate NY, Connecticut and eastern Mass. -- are you hispanic? Because if so -- trust me -- we don't want you up there.

But I grew up in the south -- so as we say -- what's holding you from going back? Don't let the door nail you in the ass sister....
