As a White Person, do you feel any connection to Europe ???

1 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-16 19:56
I feel about ZERO.

My ancestors are from Germany and were Jews. I feel zero connection to Germany and I personally do not care if they take in tens of millions of violent Muslims.

My belief system seems very opposite to vast majority of Europeans.
2 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-16 20:25
Well obviously you wouldn't.
3 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-16 20:52
Anon, yes they almost wiped every Jew off the planet. Some would say its a good thing but i would not.
4 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-16 21:26
Weird though how black Americans still love America despite its history
5 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-16 22:04
Yeah, probably because there's a difference between slavery and extermination. That, to put it in a very simplistic way.
6 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-16 22:33
Because slaves were never killed?
7 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-16 22:55
Because slaves, at some extent are valued. The only things the Nazis valued were Jews's fat for soaps, Jews's hair for brushes and Jews's teeth for gold. Other than that, the Jews were just rats to be exterminated.

This isn't true at all.

Jews were slave labor force that the Nazi's used for production in the camps during the early part of the war. The Jewish death tolls steeply rose after the Nazi's had to choose to feed the soldiers and civilians when the food supplies were lost as their territory started collapsing and the disruption supply lines and farming/ranching from war. Up till that point they were valued for what work they could provide.

How to create an atheist: read the bible twice cover to cover.

"This isn't true at all."

Do you know what the "Final solution" is? If not, google it. After you do that, try to explain me once again how the slavery and the Holocaust are same thing.
10 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 00:31
Yes, I have read about that and am not a youngster.

I never denied the final solution. I said they used the Jews as slave labor until they couldn't work any more or couldn't be fed. Until that point, there was certainly slave labor made of the Jews.

How to create an atheist: read the bible twice cover to cover.
11 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 00:54
You didn't read enough apparently, the extermination camps were not equipped with enough gas chambers and crematories for the daily incoming transports of Jews and bullets were too expensive to just shoot them, so yeah, they effectively were working the Jews to death.
12 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 01:03
I feel connection to my home city of Metro Detroit ( only sports teams) and some to Israel. Also I feel some connection to Arizona values ( I also lived there for several yrs)
13 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 01:32
go back to germania you Kráut!
14 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 01:55
you're "just" Anti-Zionist, not Anti-Semite, right?
15 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 02:06
Anti Zionist.
16 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 02:46
Anon is American so, where the hatred comes from? You do know that that Anti-Zionism is just an euphemism for Antisemitism, right?
17 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 02:55
anon is an ultra far right zionist!
18 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 03:05
Anti-Zionism is just an euphemism for Antisemitism, right?

Bull crap. You can be opposed to Israel's policies and be a Jew or married to a Jew. Naomi Wolf is a Jew and one of the most anti-Zionist activists around.
19 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 03:25
"be opposed to Israel's policies"

You apparently have to do more reading. Anti-Zionism is not about opposing Israel's policies. Besides, there are many Jews that are Anti-Semites.

My family is Irish and I do feel a connection. My dads family came here in the 20's and my mom is straight off the boat Irish. We spend 3 months out of every year in Ireland with my moms family so I feel very connected to the Emerald isle. And it breaks my heart to see the Browning of Ireland.
21 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 04:02
Yes, I consider America as an offshoot of Britain. American literature has never been independent of British literature.
22 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 04:37
Culturally, yes. Politically, no.

I am concerned about preserving Western Civilization and obviously Europe is a big part of that.
23 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 04:57
I do. I went back to the farm in Norway where my ancestors (and my last name) came from. Fjord country, very pretty. I also liked England and Scotland a lot.
24 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 05:18
My ancestors are from Germany and were Jews.

If they were Jews, they didn't just magically "sprout up" in Germany.

You are ultimately from ISRAEL, not Europe. That could explain why you don't feel the connection, plus your not white.
25 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 05:48
By that logic we are all, ultimately, from Africa.
26 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 06:10

Vand, these monsters and thugs just killed 6 million people out of pure hate and jealousy. These were hard working and innocent people just slaughtered and a third were little kids.
I hope Germany takes in 100 million of them.

That country should have been hit with dozens of A-bombs.

"I hope Germany takes in 100 million of them.
That country should have been hit with dozens of A-bombs."

I am a Jew, and I think it is unfair to hold today's Germans responsible for what their grandparents did. Germany today is a free and prosperous society, and an integral part of the West.
30 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 07:53
In which the national-socialism would be the form of government all over again if it was allowed.
31 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 08:11
Yes. Mainly with Italy (where my ancestors are from) and the British Isles. I think America, Canada, Australia and New Zealand are like the branches to England's trunk.
32 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 08:23
Italy and Spain have kept them out !!!
33 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 08:34
Do i feel a connection to the continent of Europe because i am white ?

No i don`t
34 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 08:47
Only in values and ethics.
35 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 09:00
Let them be overrun by the Orcs and Demons !!!

We still have Middle USA- Canada and Australia and NZ alliance.
36 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 09:15
No I don't have any connection to Islam.
37 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 09:29
Well, at least it is not below zero.

But, no, I don't feel a connection either as of now where some politicians are being hounded about by rightwing media and neonazis.

But I am happy that the German interior forces have arrested four neo-nazi terrorists, that the German interior minister said she believed that one ought not take a few examples to portray all war refugees in a bad light, and that the general mood in the EU is humanistic.

Fourthly, it is good to see that Sweden has asked Israel to reveal their exact methods of policing the occupied territories, and if this involves just killing random civilians. I hope the rest of the EU will follow in that inquiry.
38 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 09:46
I feel a connection with western civilization, not the white ethnicity itself.
39 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 10:07
A "connection?"

Yeah, on a golf course in Ireland I got my foot stuck in a peat bog and I can't get out!
40 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 10:27
Yes - I feel a strong connection whenever I hear them play The Final Countdown. Inspiring glam rock!
41 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 10:48
Europe isn't a homogeneous entity. Canada and the US are Germanic nations, so they in many aspects have more in common with those parts of Europe than, say, NOrWAY has with Greece and Lithuania.
42 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 11:11
Canada and the US are Germanic nations
How the hell are Canada and the US Germanic nations?
43 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 11:29

How the hell are Canada and the US Germanic nations?

He's trying to say that the British are Germanic, which is even more bullshit of a lie than Out of Africa, one.
44 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 11:49
In what way aren't they?
45 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 12:20
In virtually every way.
46 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 12:45
My belief system seems very opposite to vast majority of Europeans.

What strikes me the most with that statement is you seem to believe "Europeans" all have the same set of beliefs.

Do you have any idea how bizarre that is?
47 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 12:58
White, Western civilization has exhibited strong consistency, more so after it all became Christian.

Wherever the children of Europe are throughout the world, we build the same sorts of things, share admiration for the same sorts of culture, and have a similar though not identical sense of life. Tolstoy, Dante and Shakespeare are all admired in countries besides those they were born in. And so on.
48 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 13:11
I feel zero connection to Germany and I personally do not care if they take in tens of millions of violent Muslims.

but part of the reason they are bending over backwards to be so fking stupid taking in such numbers of savages, is the baggage of guilt over THAT 70+ years ago..

surely to fcku they have officially atoned for that this many years and generations on...if not, when?

the answer to your original question is YES.

they are part of the 'US/WE"..

And they are part of you too ethnically, like it or not.

the language of European Jews was German Yiddish, not Hebrew.
49 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 13:27
"is the baggage of guilt over THAT 70+ years ago.. "

Maybe, I don't know, in my opinion though, that's happening because they got castrated twice. First mainly by Russians but also by Americans, second, by EU. The immigration is happening all over Europe, it is not just a German policy. Not that Germans getting castrated is a bad thing.

"German Yiddish"

There is no such thing. It is "Yiddish". Yiddish's origins are unknown. Actually, modern researches show that Yiddish's origins are Slavic, not Germans.
50 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 13:44
"Not that Germans getting castrated is a bad thing."

I disagree.
51 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 14:00
How the hell did Germany get castrated by the E.U?

The E.U was basically planned by France and Germany.
52 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 14:22
It's just a way of speech, a feeling I've got, not something verifiable. Look what happens in the whole EU and maybe you'll understand what I mean. Besides, there are four more founder countries that you forgot.
53 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 14:50
no, I knew there was no such official language name as "(German) Yiddish", but I characterised it as that, deliberately..

Sure sounds completely peppered with German words more than any other single thing, to me..

I'd be surprised if many Yiddish speakers cannot communicate effectively with a German-only speaker...just my impressions.
54 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 15:05
par, i dont blame any young Germans at all that would be silly.

Germany has repaid it sins in many ways but I still do not care if they face much darker days.

Then, again many Jews are pretty annoying lol
55 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 15:16
How could you feel a connection to where your ancestors are from but you aren't? If you're from Los Angeles you're gonna always have a connection to LA, not Germany simply cause your ancestors are from there. You aren't. Its your DNA, yes, but you are American and you will feel a connection to where you grew up etc.

I am from Austin,TX. If I leave here and move to any other town or city or state, I will always have a connection to Austin. Not Ireland cause I have ancestry from there LOL
56 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 15:26
Yes, the Celts and Angles are the springboard of most of my family and culture. Talking to Paks and Asians openly, l saw how close they still see that connection. It is as if Britain and its older, mostly white, colonies are still a close family.
57 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 15:36
You are a product of the European Western civilization. You can deny it all you want but your entire "OS" is based on it.
58 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 16:47
My belief system seems very opposite to vast majority of Europeans.

Can you elaborate on the belief system you have now and how it's so remote from what you seem to think is "European"...?

Can't wait to hear this.
59 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 16:57
Yes, I do. But as I lam from and live in "Eurooe" , it's possibly not surprising.
60 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 17:00
Much more of a connection than a Jew, whose ancestors generally left because it was problematic for Jews in Europe, but much less than a Mexican connects with Mexico- which they ironically left for a better life, but most still identify with beloved Mexico.
61 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 17:08
Never ever sit next to a Mexican and root for a different team in either Soccer or Boxing because that is the most hostile action you can do.
62 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 17:18
It could get you killed. Even rooting against the "Los Doh-yers", the team formerly known as "Dodgers" can get you seriously injured.

My mom's side of the family were Austrian from the maternal line. Great grandmother was wealthy and came over here with millions on face value of Austria-Hungarian bonds. She complained bitterly about having to fix her own meals and do her own cleaning. The other side were red haired bearish people with huge shoulders and so much hair it would stick out their top-buttoned shirt collars because they were proud of the hair. These two group would never have intermarried back in Germany/Austria.

That side of the family is so xenophobic with all kinds of racial pride which seems common among the German settlers around the St Louis area. They were the top white-flighters to St Charles/St Peters/Fenton during the 1970 integration attempt and still some of the most racist in St Louis where we rank in the top 10 (7th?) in Forbes least integrated cities of the U.S.

I have to have some connection to the genetic history and the Rhineland of Germany is beautiful and much of the food culture from the area I still am fond of.

I have no fondness for the xenophobia of the Germans in our area and do not keep in touch with mom's side of the family. I'm surprised at at how liberal Germany had become given how the culture is around St Louis.

My other side is English/ Isle of Man and I do feel some connection to those two lands, especially the Isle of Man.

I feel about ZERO. My ancestors are from Germany and were Jews. I feel zero connection to Germany

Though this is true it might change once You visit Germany or Austria at certain places. Perhaps You detect some inner long lost vibes. (And if not - Germany is worth the visit anyway at anytime)

Just some ideas

jewish museum in Berlin
http://www.jmberlin.de/site/EN/homepage.php?meta=TRUE

Holocaust monument in Berlin
https://www.holocaust-denkmal-berlin.de/index.php?id=home&L=1
(heartbreaking stuff everyone should see)

jewish museum in Munich
http://www.juedisches-museum-muenchen.de/home.html

jewish museum in Augsburg
http://www.jkmas.de/

jewish museum Franken in Fürth
http://www.juedisches-museum.org/

jewish museum in Vienna
http://www.jmw.at/en

These are only some of many interesting places to detect. For example You can do Your own personal expedition not worrying about big tourist streams in little towns like Speyer, Worms or Mainz (they have some interesting jewish relicts or ritual places like a "Judenbad" along the river Rhine. And ALL these places are worth a visit anyway regardless whether You search for jewish roots or not.
67 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 18:21
Of course I do. By the way, Jews are not White, you're not White.
68 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 18:41
Alpha, my skin is WHITE so I am white

Yes yiddish is German and my ancestors were from the massive GErmanic region ( Germany, Austria and parts of France) back in the Middle Ages).

Some European Jews look Middle Eastern but more look White and some look mix.

Most european Jewish women are actually Italian decent !!!
69 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 19:09
Whiteness is not just skin color. It's race. Race is who you are related to, not the state of your tan.
70 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 19:42
I feel about ZERO
My ancestors are from Germany and were Jews.
I feel zero connection to Germany and I personally do not care if they take in tens of millions of violent Muslims.

What you feel is irrelevant. That will never happen. Germany is taking measures now to stop them.

You are being duplicitous in describing yourself as White. Jews are a Semitic people. They are not White.
71 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 20:37
Germany is taking measures now to stop them.

not really, they're not, and they are still far from doing so, if it ever happens, and in any case, in one massive gulp, they just took in a million..much damage is already a done deal, locked in, and it is long-term irreparable.

about twice the muslim community of Australia..which is already itself ample to cause trouble and give this community continual diarrhoea..
72 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 21:03
I still have distant cousins in the UK, Holland and Germany, so yea.
73 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-17 21:23
I don't feel a connection to Europe because I believe white guilt has ruined them...

However I don't want to see Muslims take the Continent over...thats just stupid

My ancestors came from England and Ireland. I am an Anglophile.
