This is why I do not travel to certain countries but now they've ruined the UK.
My yoga class went to the middle east area..I opted out.

Too bad I didn't see any articles condemning cultural differences during Paris.

Very good article, that incident with the Libyans is horrific as was the "Libyan Spokesman's" response.
"I was truly astounded, however, when a Libyan spokesman appeared on our local TV news. The uniformed male said he was sorry, but the Libyans didn't realise that you weren't allowed to do such things in England."

The greatest fear is always of a backlash against ordinary Muslims. So European officials try to hide or ignore incidents like these. What they don't seem able to grasp is that when they fail to acknowledge the problem, it increases the likelihood of that backlash. When anyone with an independent opinion on mass immigration speaks out, they are dismissed as xenophobic. Juncker and his many acolytes are pushing more people to the far right by their failures, not less.

These are ordinary Muslims. The nice ones are the exception to the rule.

Of course, it's no excuse. Why should i have to read that?
It's YOU and your fellows in western Europe that have allowed this, and I bet no one there will ever stand up for what's right.

The interior minister for the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia, within which Cologne is situated, has said people of a right wing persuasion discussing the mass sexual assaults on New Years Eve online are equally “awful” as the attackers and rapists.
“What happens on the right-wing platforms and in chat rooms is at least as awful as the acts of those assaulting the women,” Ralf Jaeger, a member of the left wing Social Democratic Party of Germany, told reporters this morning.
“This is poisoning the climate of our society”, he added, after equating anti-immigration rhetoric with sexual assault.

The PR spin in Germany right now is not the best.

Well if they discuss the way some idiots do here regarding Muslims - then he has a point. How many threads and comments are about killing every Muslim, deporting every Muslim, every Muslim should die, every Muslim is scum blah, blah.
I'm sure these comments probably break a lot of laws and are classed as hate speech. There is discussion and then the hate-filled bigoted bile that is often spouted here.

I can't remember reading threads with titles like that.

How in any way, are mean words written online equal to sexual assaults? You are a pathetic little cuck.
13 Name: Anonymous : 2016-01-08 01:00
You think it's ok to call for death to very Muslim? Call every Muslim scum - the same way Jews and other minorities have been referred to in the past. You think you can have rational discussion with people who spout such radical and hate filled words? People who sound as hate filled and crazy and intolerant of those they themselves despise and speak against?

Let me make it clear for you, you pathetic piece of trash. Actual sexual assaults done in real life is way way way way way way way worse than mean words written online.

Well duh
The question now is why didn't people listen when warned that these things would happen?

Pearson must feel the same way about Katie Hopkins as every other GOP presidential candidate feels about Trump.
I agree we should just deport anyone who can't stop themselves raping women, but her tired 'clash of civilisations' rhetoric illustrates why nobody pays attention to her anymore. She should break out the machine gun, like Hopkins.

Agreed....but you can't tell that to the race-baiting PC nuts who accuse you of bigotry if you speak out against obvious bullshit....
I figure the Europeans will figure it out one way or another....it'll take a few more Paris attacks though before they all wake up and of course -- more of this crap.

It should have happened by now. At this point Europeans will submit to being locked up in cages if it means they don't have to call out the people who did it.

Not all of Europe. Eastern Europe seems to be showing some immunity to this 'PC gone mad' syndrome that has gripped Western Europe. I think it's all those years living under marxist regimes during the Cold War. They won't fall for that BS anymore.

Religion influences the culture. In the case of these "oppressed" North Africans and Syrian refugees, Islam dictates that women are chattel. If women are not covered in drapes, then Muslim men have justified reign to act on their erections and assault.
The left-wingers in countries like Germany are either obtuse or insane if they can't put the pieces together at this point in 2015 A.D.

I wonder which will come first, Western European liberals standing up for their own culture against a backwards Islamic culture, or caving in to the invaders culture by enacting dress codes, rules, etc. to appease the backwards Islamists?
With the pathetic cuck like behavior from Western European liberals these days, I can't see them growing a spine any time soon.

It's sad that that point even has to be made.

>>22Well feminists are proving to be particularly stubborn on this (unsurprisingly), eagerly deflecting as many of them are onto their preferred targets of attack - namely bad ol' 'white men', who apparently wape (sic) as well dontyaknow. Who knew.
Still, such dubious evasiveness beats acknowledging these multi-city attacks for what they are and indeed condemning the disturbingly coordinated migrant perpetrators....
Priorities.

Cultural difference is no excuse for rape
The author presumes that different cultures have the same attitude towards rape. But that is not so: in cultures where woman are property rape is at worst property theft or... I don't know a kind of "vandalism" I guess: spoilage of something that belongs to another.
Fact is:
some cultures are simply incompatible.

Indeed. Regardless, we all knew that those feminists stupid enough to acknowledge these coordinated multi-city, multi-nation attacks would deflect away and excuse them at the earliest opportunity. Yet even an incorrigible cynic like myself has been surprised at just how repugnant and disingenuous such ripostes have invariably been.
If modern feminism can be defined by such hypocritical attitudes then it is a movement that will apparently only unequivocally condemn sexual assault depending on the perpetrator's culture/religious affiliation - an utterly deplorable attitude that renders such ideology morally, ethically and intellectually bankrupt.....not that most of us didn't know that already, mind.
