Memento, yeah yeah anyone can get lucky. The film and music industry are littered with one hit wonders. With the exception of The Prestige, all of his later work is horrendous. Awful storytelling and dialogue, muddled choppy action. High production values and artful cinematography do not make a film good and have nothing to do with the filmmaker.

I like him even though I thought the end of "Interstellar" stunk and ruined the movie.

I would say that, taken as a whole, his body of work is pretty good. But the quality has been on a steady decline for years. Interstellar and The Dark Knight Rises are among his weakest efforts.

The Dark Knight Rises SUCKED

Inception was a good movie; Interstellar wasn't.
Nolan deserves a prize for Inception, and a thoroughly good beating for Interstellar.
