I won't ask which is better, because neither is. The only difference between Harry Reid and Mitch McConnell is that they are at opposite ends of the political spectrum. I had "hope" (to borrow a word from Obama!) that with the impending retirement of Reid, the door to honest, fair and open government might be opened at last. But with McConnell's pushing the "Omnibus spending bill", as he did, with its giveaways and secret spending, I think darker, not brighter days, are ahead. One tyrant leaves, and another rises to take his place! Such is the destiny of America, I guess.
