Haha, see if anyone has a worse one than me.

My car is broken down, so I'll have to walk today to the store to get food. It's supposed to storm all day.

I don't mind the walk, since I really need exercise, I just live on a very dangerous road that has very little shoulder and where people speed on it constantly. Case in point, last week or so, there was a bad wreck -- and this was from someone pulling out from a small road. No intersection or anything like that. A pretty straight part of the road and somehow, someone pulling onto it from Bob's Road or something (it's one of those small country roads without center divider lines or anything) got clipped and good. This was about 50 yards from where I live. I've walked myself and had to deal with a car coming up on me actually speeding up upon my crossing it (maybe it was SFBE or someone else here ).

My mother is in the hospital supposedly because of the flu, but I have my suspicions it has something to do with the tons of medications her idiot doctor(s? give her. She's been saying crazy, crazy stories to people and I've done my own investigation and it is looking like prescription meds abuse.

It's OK though, as I don't celebrate Christmas anymore. Came a point in my life when I felt like a drone for years and never celebrated any holidays, including my birthday. So it's will be kinda like another, average shitty day in my life.

But if you're having a bad holiday, look at my post as mine is probably more depressing. Maybe that will cheer you up

Well, I am going to go take my life in my hands and walk to the store for food. It doesn't appear to be raining so this may be my only chance.

Well, I know no one really cares, but I made it back. I am really bad out of shape. Not overweight, just no muscle tone or lung capacity anymore. Carrying groceries...ugh.

I always secretly hope I'll find a cache of money on the side of the road when I walk. I did find an unopened box of Goody's headache powder once. That was actually a good find for me.

No good finds today . At least no one tried to kill me.
