With the board thinking of Trump and Clinton, what about Ukraine?

Ukraine just defaulted on a billion dollar debt to Russia, and the IMF broke a rule it refused to break for Greece, allowed for more loans despite not being able to pay the current debt.

Ukraine can't purchase gas from Russia because part of the debt it has defaulted on is gas it stole from Russia as it was being shipped to Europe.

Ukraine can't keep industry going because its export industries were geared to Russia.

And to top it all, a large part of Ukraines electricity supply is from nuclear power, and with its debt default, Ukraine can neither purchase uranium, nor embark on an essential and overdue nuclear power station maintenance program.
Ukraine also needs electricity to actually run its nuclear power plants, and having cut off the power supply to Crimea last week forcing Russia to build emergency transmission lines from its own network, Russia may not be inclined to supply Ukraine with the power needed to run the nuclear plants.

Aren't we glad Ukraine got rid of its Russia-leaning President in a coup and is now governed by US-supported criminals.

With all the action in Syria, the Ukraine is no longer a subject for discussion in the West. In Russia, where the Ukraine is still a major problem looming on the horizon, and where some 1.5 million Ukrainian refugees are settling in, with no intentions of going back to what's left of the Ukraine, it is still actively discussed. But for the US, and for the EU, it is now yet another major foreign policy embarrassment, and the less said about it the better.

In the meantime, the Ukraine is in full-blown collapse—all five glorious stages of it—setting the stage for a Ukrainian Nightmare Before Christmas, or shortly after.

The sooner the Ukraine forms a troika with its comrades in Russia and Australia and declares war on the US the better for all the peace loving nations of the world.

You seem to think the USA is as big as Iceland with a similar level of influence on the planet. It is slightly larger.

Crimea was part of the Ukraine.

And Obama sent money & support to back the Ukraine.

I'm not really thinking about trump or clinton. It seems the same problems that are everywhere else are also in the ukraine. Why not tax the wealth of the oligarchs to pay these debts? They have like 100 billion dollars. They're probably responsible for why debt was needed in the first place.
