1. They predicted in the 90's that the world would not only continue to heat, but that the heating would increase exponential to fossil-fuel usage. The result? The world hasn't warmed in 18 years - despite an astonishing increase in fossil-fuel energy consumption - and 95% of the modelling was wrong:

They predicted the caps would melt, the sea levels would rise by metres and low-lying island nations would be swamped. The result? The caps didn't melt, (in fact, Antarctica is gaining ice), the seas haven't risen more than a few inches per century and low-lying island nations are mostly growing in size:
