In stressful times, such as a death-related incident, people are not in control of their emotions, hence why they oftentimes cry hysterically. It stands to reason that their emotional range can and will swing easily side to side, and one minute they could be completely blank-faced while the next, crying their eyes out. Sometimes they can even smile or laugh.

People are not in ONE single state of emotion at ALL times, even during something as tragic as a child's death. For the briefest moment, chemicals in their brain could kick in and they could laugh at a joke or smile cordially. The brain sometimes does this as a way to relieve stress, even during moments of extreme grief.

This is pretty common knowledge and any human with half a brain should understand that emotions are EXTREMELY volatile and may not at all times reflect the seriousness of the situation.

Again, you're really stupid. Do you stand around at all times with an appropriately dull look on your face with drool hanging out of your mouth? Doubtful.

Perhaps you could explain the father's lack of congruent microexpressions. He doesn't even show microexpressions of sadness, but of happiness. Notice how he also sheds no tears.
