Any Democrat who'd participate in that is not going to be terribly representative.

Its very much like what my mother used to tell me when she would offer some sound advice and I, as a brilliant teenager, refused to listen. She would say "well...you just need to hear it from someone besides your mother and then you will understand".

They hear it from Trump and its a bad idea. Maybe we should just tell liberals its their great idea and they will start to see it.

Despite all the media outrage there is a huge amount of support among Americans for the idea. Its not popular with the ruling class and their media goons.

Id love to see it voted on, nationwide a straight-up yes or no vote.
