May not be a big deal to the one it isn't happening to but it is to the one having them.
So stop with the BS "First world problems" excuse if you are using it.

It's funny though. As long as you don't take it seriously. I'm no fan of the logic in some problems cancelling out others. As long as you're around they'll always be someone who has it worse, even in the first world. But it helps reintroduce a little perspective. Sometimes it's necessary, sometimes it isn't.

Usually if and when I ever say it (once a year maybe) it's something in reference to myself. Dammit the batter only yielded enough to make 14 portions of sticky toffee puddings, first world problem. Once in a while, appropriately placed, "first world problems" can be really funny. Most people just have no delivery or timing skills.

If you vent your personal problems in public, you should not be upset if others show indifference.

Micro aggression conjures up images for me of midgets and dwarfs being aggressive. That or little creatures being aggressive, like chihuahuas.

Kind of like how at a first glance I could have sworn the term minarchist was slang for an anarchist who is not very tall.
