What we call "liberal" these days are actually Authoritarian Statists. They do not believe in free speech for anyone who disagree with them. Many of them are openly anti-semitic. Nearly every single one of them blame either the United States or Israel for Islamic terror. They'll blame global warming and post partum depression for Islamic Terror before they'll blame Islam.

They are all pathologically insane and pathologically anti-American. They haven't heard of a communist dictator they didn't like. They claim to hate Adolf Hitler but hasten to carry on his work. 6,000,000 dead Jews aren't enough for the leftists. 50,000,000 dead, murdered babies haven't sated the left wing Murder Junkies why should they settle for a puny 6,000,000 dead Jews?

Many radical college groups.....of a politically correct pigmentation....are openly calling for the violent overthrowing of the US government while "liberals" defend them and call for goon squad to beat up student reporters.

Make no mistake. Every drop of American blood spilled by an Islamic terrorist on American soil is on the hands of a "liberal". Liberals have run interference for these people and they continue to do so today.

Coming from a Republican Conservative background where "Doctrine"
is handed down from talking Republican dito heads whom every "good"
little Republican considers to be gospel, you don't really understand
any other way of doing things.

Something you Conservatives just don't get about Liberals is that
it is an ideology like a buffet table where people only take what
they want and leave the rest. It works because there are enough people
interested in enough of a diversity that all of the issues get covered
without every Liberal necessarily having to agree with every other Liberal.
For the most part we don't get in each others way because we agree that
just because something isn't my 'thing' I shouldn't bully or obstruct others
for taking an interest in an issue I have no interest in.

That way, you can never accurately say: "All Liberals this, or all Liberals that."
If what you are going for is for the betterment of society without
unduly harming the environment, then more power to you.
