The rise of liberal intolerance in America

Outstanding piece, worth the read

It ought to be a triumphal moment for American liberalism. In the space of a few years gay marriage has been accepted, marijuana has been legalised, America has twice elected its first black president and may well be gearing up to elect its first woman. Yet the revival of political correctness on US campuses — and the increasingly shrill tone of much of the intellectual left — tells another story. Instead of championing free speech, the left is trying to shut it down.

Great read and quite terrifying as well.

That website is fucking terrible. You can't even read the article because some ad for their site keeps filling the screen.

The Church of Liberalism is the most intolerant religion on the planet. I've been saying that for years, and I continue to be proved correct.

Liberalism is a close 2nd to Scientology

Scientology is just a little nuts. I don't think it's anywhere near as intolerant as Liberalism, primarily because it would just as soon stick to itself. Liberalism seeks to use the federal government to force everyone into its ideals.

He was also author of the Treaty of Versailles.
Stopped reading here, since this is such a laughable falsehood.

Wilson didn't write the Treaty of Versailles. He proposed the 14 points, most of which the treaty ignored.

In point of fact, while the 14 Points were all about being kind to the defeated enemy and seeking equanimity, the Treaty of Versailles was all about sticking it to Germany as hard as the allies could. It was so harsh the US Senate NEVER RATIFIED IT...the US made a separate peace with Germany after WWI.

Does it bother you that you so highly value the opinions of people who obviously don't know what the hell they're talking about?
