I'd estimate that, with the threads I "Ignore", I see less than half of the OPs. Of those, perhaps 20 percent are actually about politics (or close enough).

You may be right. That's kind of sad. There are a lot of important political topics that should be discussed and I see sooo many stupid OPs like:

Do you think cats are cuter than dogs? or that kind of nonsense.

Do you think the moderators should delete OPs that are way off topic?

Take a sample, e.g. the first 10 threads, and count them. I'd be interested to know but can't be bothered.

Honest answer? I couldn't care less about pets. I care about humans and what is happening in the world.
