He had a hotel and that's where most of the murders took place. Such a bizarre story.

Yeah, but what about the first cereal killer?

I suspect Captain Crunch may have been one and his method of killing was hinted by a clue in his name.

When was the last time you stayed in a hotel?

And, like his namesake John Holmes, he was hung.

Devil in the White City, an upcoming film starring Leonardo DiCaprio as Holmes, is set to be directed by Martin Scorsese and written by Billy Ray, based on the book of the same name. The film will follow Daniel H. Burnham's construction of the 1893 Worlds Fair, as well as Holmes' building of his hotel.

A wonderful book, and I'm really looking forward to this movie.

He had a hotel and that's where most of the murders took place. Sounds like this season's "American Horror Story".

I got to season 3 of that show about halfway in and stopped watching. Were the next season's any better?

I actually liked Season 3 (Coven - about the witches). Season 4 was Freak Show, which I also enjoyed. I do not like this season. It is a bloody, confusing mess. There was a decent episode where all of these famous dead serial killers gathered for a dinner, but I haven't liked the rest of the season. No Jessica Lange this season, plus Lady Gaga cannot act.

I think I may try to finish season three. Thank you for telling me. :)
