70% of refugees are men (16 to 45) without families...

The fact that liberals keep pretending that these are only women and children is enough to keep them out. When liberals want to start talking seriously about this, then I think we open it to negotiation. Until then, keep them out.
Just two days ago, one day after the Paris attack, Obama let out another 5 terrorists from Guantanamo Bay.
Obama has completely downplayed the threat of ISIS from the very beginning.
Now he lies and pretends that we are only talking about women and children, when he knows full well what we are talking about are military age men and the potential of ISIS to infiltrate the refugees, and carry out a terrorist attack, as they have already done in Europe.
The statistic, since many liberals are in denial about it, comes from the United Nations...and only 20% are children.
Here it is:

It's in the bottom right corner under demographics.

Chris Matthews has been going about this for the past couple of days: why don't these men stay and fight? Whatever the exact percentage is, a LOT of fighting-age men have fled. We try to recruit people to fight ISIS, and we get FOUR.
He has a good point. It's their country, they should fight for it. We can help but why should we go do it all for them? Then when ISIS is defeated, who takes over then? We can't. It should be Syrians.

>>1Prove it then. Prove that 70% of refugees leaving Syria are men. Go.

>>3I added a link directly from the UN. Check it out. One click away.

>>3It's already been shown true by the UN and the nations involved, dimwit.
Let's see you prove it's just women and orphans like your anointed one stated.

And half of the refugees actually accepted by the US are children, you gaggle of mindless parrots. Priority is given to women and children, the elderly, and the severely injured.

>>6says who? Now it's your turn to provide a link.

>>7Fuck off and go do a search like I did instead of giving us a link from 2 months ago. Mine was from this week.

What was your source, the President? Sure, politicians never lie.

Your figures would include the Syrian refugees taken in starting in 2012. The US had not taken in very many, but at that time they were nearly all family refugees which included many children obviously.
The current refugee situation that started this year, 2015, are majority male refugees who are not children. The US has yet to take in a significant number of those refugees. Your figures are composite information that is older than the OPs figures.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Look who's a gaggle of mindless parrots. You parrot every stupid half-truth and compete falsehood the POTUS spouts.
We're not talking about refugees coming in to the US currently, but what refugees are fleeing the middle east right now and the demographics of those.
Do you really think that the US under Obama's direction is going hold up a halt palm to the men refugees and wave the women and children in, regardless of past priorities? That's just being naïve and ignorant.

The UN Refugee Agency is a pretty legitimate source.

Every single account has the vast majority of the refugees as fighting age men. Every picture and video taken backs this up. Why the denial. Do you honestly think there are not a significant amount of ISIS fighters embedded in with the refugees? How could there not be?

Just a note:
That link is only referring to a subset of refugees. The boat refugees. That is not representative to the demographics of the aggregate refugees.
14 Name: Anonymous : 2015-11-18 18:54
The aggregate refugee figures match up to these and are very similar, according to the UN delegations on the ground.
15 Name: Anonymous : 2015-11-18 19:03
This link shows the aggregate split of women/men is about 50/50.
http://data.unhcr.org/syrianrefugees/regional.php I think the OP is guilty of the same thing as Obama, who is being intentionally disingenuous by saying they are "orphans and widows." Both are using misleading data for deceptive purposes.
Although the OP may not realize that his link is just for a subset. Obama definitely realizes his prevarication is being employed to deceive. Cringe-worthy deception at that.

I like the FACT that you're an Honest Broker Mssr. Egg.
One who thinks the data should speak for itself.

That data includes aggregate information beginning in 2012 when the refugee figures were significantly more women and less men, and more children as well.
The figures in the last several weeks and months is much closer to the OPs presented figures. It's not 70% but is well over 50% "of age" male refugees, and closer to the subset information than not.
