I'm ashamed to admit I have tuned out world events the last few years, placing myself in a bubble and focusing on my little micro-spot in the world. But even I can't avoid seeing the Paris tragedy. So don't be too harsh on my question, I'm simply looking for info on the terrorist global campaign.

I saw a recent article where it describes the majority of Muslims are non-violent and condemn the terrorist attacks. This non-violent Muslim majority claim that these extremists are wrongfully using their religion as their campaign of mass murder.

My question is....is there any Muslim sector - government, community, etc. actively fighting these radical Muslim terrorists? Yes, they condemn it, but is this Muslim majority doing anything about it? It seems to me this non-violent Muslim majority have an edge in fleshing out these terrorists.

Are they just sitting back and saying gee that's horrible, too bad so sad? They would have to know if it's left up to the West to eradicate the terrorists embedded in their world, lots of innocent Muslims will be killed....collateral damage. History has shown that to be true. I would think they would be the most aggressive to crush this terrorists campaign infested in their culture in hopes to save the thousands of lives of innocent Muslims?

It seems pretty clear the first suicide bomber was interrupted and couldn't follow the plan. The "mundane" attacks of the drive by shootings were meant to be a distraction or more importantly cause deconfliction messes with multiple locations and multiple agencies figuring out how to respond. The plan could have been to detonate one vest, and detonate a second when first responders arrived. However, the brass ring would have been to get Hollande.

Condemnation is a political play. They don't actually want to stop it.

They secretly support it even if they publically condemn it. This is backed up in research taken from all over the globe. Even if they aren't carrying out any of these actions themselves, when asked if they believe nonbelievers should be killed, apostates should be killed, rape victims should be stoned, sharia law support, jihad support ect. we see a staggering influx of numbers that support these acts.

So there is no non-violent Muslim majority/sector/govts. fighting the terrorists or doing anything about the virus within their culture?

Nope. Most Muslim countries are not just Muslim by numbers, but their government is founded on the religion itself. Sharia law is the law of the land in those places.

Okay thanks. I'll allow others to chime in with any examples showing some part of this non-violent Muslim majority are actively fighting terrorism, but if your post is factual, that's a really sad commentary on a whole culture. It seems to me that leaves the West with no choice but to accept collateral damage will be a part of their campaign to eradicate terrorist.

You might consider Obama a Muslim fighting terrorism.

The plethora of parallels to be drawn from the way Islam is portrayed by contemporary media and any number of entities in classic sci-fi is so worryingly misleading that if your innocence is genuine I would beg you ask your questions elsewhere.

Syria is a secular muslim government that is fighting ISIS and for some stupid reason, the US refuses to support them. Probably because our government has a bunch of war monger politicians who look to make Arms industry richer and can care less about protecting us or ending this conflict. The same politicians that helped escalate this situation by going into Iraq, and taking out another secular muslim government fighting Islamic radicals.

The saying goes that radicals Muslims want to kill us, while moderate Muslims want the radical Muslims to kill us.

Are you suggesting that Turkey should invade France? Muslim countries are fighting terrorists within their borders, I'm not sure what else you expect them to do.
