Only Europeans are dumb enough to ban symbols, in the moronic notion that its going to change people's feelings. Some Southerners are racist, banning the flag isn't going to change that, they'll just pick a new symbol and retards will get triggered and try to ban that too. Like how Germans now feel uneasy about the Imperial or Prussian flags because neo-Nazis and racists simply adopted them to replace their banned Nazi flag.

Easy bro. Southern culture is a mixture of shit and awesome. Great food, great tradition of writers and musicians, a reputation for hospitality and politeness, strong family ties, slow and easy pace of life.

That's weighed against ignorance, obesity, and racism, but these things aren't the only thing going on in the South.

And that flag is NOT the flag of our culture, it represents uneducated rednecks who generally do not understand the causes of the war and harbor negative attitudes toward minorities. It represents the Old South and the bumpkins that romanticize the era.

This is the main reason people wave that flag. 'They aren't pro racist, or expressing history, or fighting for free speech.
They are people who have grown up in a country that treats them like they are some kind of worthless animal for being born in the south and having white skin.
