I'm not pregnant. What do you think could be causing this? Please no trolls!!! I am 20 years old.

Have you shown your vagina to a doctor? He might be more than us.

Stress.

As >>3 said, Go see a doctor.

Yeah I am seeing a doctor on Friday. I think it's due to stress in college and not having seen my parents for one year.

Can I give you a ride in my Mr. Softy truck?

It could be stress, but didn't you also say you've been gaining weight? You need to rule out a physical cause first.

Take care, dear. I have my fingers crossed for you.

As a joke, I would say, "Have you tried writing to God?"

In all seriousness though I'll ask: are you on any kind of birth control?

No I'm not on birth control. I've also never been with a guy so I'm definitely not pregnant.

Yeah, in late September I made an appointment with a doctor on Friday.

No, my inquiry wasn't about possible pregnancy (you've already stated that was not the case), nor your sexual history (although if you had one, that could be more relevant to your affliction). A little known possible side-effect to birth control (especially pills and injections) is little to no period symptoms, hence my question.

As stated by others now, a change in environment - including stress and a change of diet (since you are now living on your own for the first time) - could affect your body, including your thyroid gland, and cause eratic menstrual cycles.

If you can't wait for your doctor's appointment, try looking up your local radio stations and see if you can call into LoveLine tonight to seek the advice of Dr. Drew Pinsky.

Or maybe God has chosen you...

I have been living on my own for the past two years. This past summer, I lived entirely on my own (working on-campus), and my period was very regular (30-day cycles). Now, classes have resumed and my period is irregular. I'm living in a dorm now. My last period began on August 2 and today is October 8.

Has it ever happened to any of you?

Me? No. Once, when I was 20, I was manscaping when I clipped my coinpurse. That's about as close as I've come to a period.

Maybe a roommate has introduced something to your environment you're not aware of.

Right shipmate, I'm not a quack but I'd take anon's advice and see your doctor. Late periods can be caused by many things, such as significant weight loss, stress and irregularities with your Thyroid gland. Also, other, more severe illnesses. Get yourself checked out sooner rather than later.

You might want to see a doctor rather than ask strangers on a anonymous message board.

Do i look fat in this dress? Are you trying to say that you married me just for my looks? Do you even love me?
