Who do you think could be the better Bond

Tom Hardy or Idris Elba?
Elba is a favorite to play Bond after Craig but yesterday, they were asking Hardy about it and he's open to it, so now I ask you, who do you think would be a better choice for the next James Bond. Honestly, I could see both being awesome in the role. A friend of mine was saying Henry Cavill or Michael Fassbender would be great too, I think Michael Fassbender would be terrific too. What do you think? Who do you think would be better suited as the next Bond and why?

Hardy because he's white not racist but Bond should be white.

Hardy's the better actor of the two, but not sure how I feel about another short, stocky Bond. Elba would be fine, but Fassbender would be transcendent.

Fassbender would be awesome.

Is Hardy going to do another goofy cartoon voice like in TDKR & MMFR?

I think Elba would be more natural. Hardy is a good actor so he might pull it off, but does he get himself invested in Bond? Or does he think it's joke he can somehow "better"? You're either a fan or not, the franchise goes so astray trying to reinvent the wheel.
But realistically, with Elba I'd see Bond. With Hardy, based on what I've seen of him, I'd see Hardy so smug pissing us all off.

>>1I can't believe you just made another Bond thread.

They'd both be catastrophic.

If it has to be one of those two then of course it's Elba. The obnoxious Hardy is just a pantomime performer.

Nothing would give me more pleasure than to see the misogynistic, bland, smug, imperialism cartoon Bond played by the prison tattooed, surly, authority-hating Hardy. Doing the Bane voice.
That would kill off that inane plastic antediluvian Bond character AND that annoying rebellious actor!

Hardy, since he's actually a decent actor.

An actor only four years younger than Craig and who is already going grey or a short former drug addict with a speech impediment, serious anger management issues and a difficult reputation would be complete non-starters for a franchise looking for a star who they could get four or five films out of and who won't be as difficult for them to deal with as Connery and Brosnan were.

This franchise with a good clout tend to go with actor easy to insure, easy and fun to work with, good at selling movie like say Chris Pratt.
I think Hardy is very talented and could play a caracther on a Bond movie, but I would not go for him if a was the producer and I'm not so sure that he would be a good Bond neither.
The next james bond does not even need to be a known actor (did Graig even lead one successful movie before Casino Royal?)

Elba. I'm not some SJW, I just genuinely think he's the best choice for Bond right now. He's got this incredibly sauve and charismatic persona that just seems effortless.

If the choice is between those two, it's Elba by miles. He's more charismatic. Not sure Elba would be my personal choice for Bond, but I think he's a fantastic choice. Hardy, meh.

Salma Hayek, she could do it and race, gender, etc. wouldn't be in question.
Out of your twwo choices, well I'd rather watch Tom Hardy. I'm not though into the Bond films so I choose Idris Elba.

Elba is a favorite to play Bond
Anyone who puts money on Elba being the next Bond deserves to lose it for being a moron.

i think Elba and Hardy are extremely talented... but id still give it to Clive Owen over both.

He's 51 this year he won't be cast.

>>19no biggie... Tom Cruise is still an action star and hes over 50

Sure but Graig played Bond 10 year's, I guess the next one would also be signed for 9 year's, that would push him over 60's for the third movie of the next trilogy.

For me, Elba. He's much more suave for the role then Tom Hardy would be.
