Why are the textboards the only non-dead thing on this site?

Because most of the users came from world4ch, and nobody knows about the imagesboards.

Plus 4ct won't post links on other sites, which makes it harder to find people willing to post in the imageboards, and the issue with 8chan (September last years) users spamming every textboard and imageboard with 8chan links kinder forced 4ct's hand in blocking all urls with 8chan and keeping the imageboards on lockdown.
