Say you broke up with a girl with whom you had a good thing going. Good sex. good conversation, no craziness or shiftiness on her part.
You go your separate ways and you find somebody else, who you also have a good thing with, but it's not quite as special as what you had before.
Girl A thinks you and she could give it another shot. Do you leave Girl B to pursue this opportunity? Or stay with her and see where it goes?

>>1If you broke up without a reason, you're an idiot.
If you had a reason, it will be the reason again after you come together again. So either way, no, there isn't really a reason.

Always choose the second girl. If you really loved the first, you wouldn't have fallen for the second.
Also, fuck dredging girls up from the past in general it's always a bad idea and means you aren't being optimistic enough about the girls you could meet later on. Shows over with the first girl, don't ruin the memory of her.

>>5That's what I'm thinking, but on the other hand, girl A for me really wasn't one of those disasters that people seem to whitewash and can't get over. We had a good thing going, and we really only broke up because it was long distance and was placing the whole thing under a great deal of strain. Trust me, if that weren't the case, I would've just said what you said and forgot all about it.

>>6depends on the reason you broke with girl A. Mind telling what happened?

You built up girl A and downed girl b in 1 line. You already made the decision. Go be with her.

>>7Well, she was dating a friend of mine back here in California, sort of, which is how I met her. Through circumstances too complicated to go into, she ended up back in her home state of Utah, and right after that we started dating, resolving that we'd get her back here and continue on as we had been. She did come back for Christmas at the beginning of this year. We had a good time, got ourselves a room and fucked at some point, and when the week long visit was up, we broke up soon after she got back. Long distance wasn't gonna work. We stopped talking and I eventually found my current girlfriend, but we've started talking again lately and she's entertained the idea of us getting back together, saying her current boyfriend has commitment issues, which I don't. Thus I find myself in my current situation.

>>8Oh, I've got a good thing with girl B, don't mistake me. I actually have more in common with her than I do girl A. Shit, she's even a virgin to boot. Rare at her age, and rarer still considering I live in SoCal. No, if the decision were that easy, I wouldn't have had to think about it.
