Just feel like venting.

Just feel like venting. It's in the middle of the night here, and as usual when my boyfriend works a night shift and I'm home alone, I start brooding.
In every relationship I've ever had, I've wanted to have sex earlier in the relationship and more often throughout the relationship than the guy. I thought I had finally met a guy who matched me. We share many kinks, he is open-minded, the sex was fantastic.
...was.
Six years later and we barely have sex. At the moment, we've hadn't had any kind of sex at all for over a month. No penetration, no oral, nothing.
We're both still young, I look more-or-less the same as when we started dating. I work out (he doesn't), I give him compliments, kisses, he smacks my ass and says he loves me, but still no sex.
He isn't cheating, because we have an open relationship (as long as we talk about it), and he has no interest in sleeping with anyone else either. When I ask him about it, he just says that he "isn't in the mood", but this mood has lasted for so long... I've suggested therapy, I've suggested that he should visit a doctor to see if he is ill, I've suggested threesomes, roleplay, new lingerie, romantic vacations... but he isn't interested.
Why do I always get involved with guys who first say "oh, I love having sex with you", but later in the relationship lose interest?
tl;dr: Boyfriend has lost interest in sex. I'm grumpy.

>>1I'll go on /lounge/ to ask for serious relationship advice
Probably not going to end that well I'm afraid.

Oh and, "oh, I love having sex with you", but later in the relationship lose interest" I find this funny coming from the guy and not the other way around.

>>4Meh, less asking for advice, and more just ranting. I doubt /lounge/rs can fix this. Although /lounge/ does give more honest advice than most places.

>>5In my experience, this idea that guys want to have more sex than women is not true. I haven't been in a long enough relationship with a woman to see if women are even worse though.
I grew up with the idea "boys just want to get in your pants"... and I was very disappointed once I found out it wasn't true. Well, there are men who are like that. But none of my boyfriends have been like that.

You've been in a relationship for 5 years, ponder about that statement for a while.
Rape him, literally just rape him one night and see what happens.

tried legitimately seducing him?
buy some lingerie and surprise him?
have him come in your room and be naked?
it's really hard to say no to a fully naked woman in the mood..
heads up.
for me at least. any type of frustration from my girlfriend for any reason is a big turn off.
If I'm having a hard time getting up but I'm in the mood, and she even so much as presses her lips together in a "really. come on" kind of way. I notice it. its demoralizing. so just be exited for him

That feeling when you don't want to live, but you can't stand the thought of dying
