alright /lounge/ lets do this.

I think my girlfriend has aspergers.

- She never tells me she likes / loves me
- She can not really look people in the eyes, her eyes are flickering very often when she does it
- she is extremely honest
- she almost always says yes
- she has anxiety / depersonalisation sometimes
- she hates kids / dogs
- we have good sex, often, I can touch her whenever and wherever I want. we had sex even in public swimming pools with people close by
- my biggest problem: she often ignores me, she doesn't respond to my texts or takes alot of time for it, she responds extremely briefly, she barely writes to me by herself, I often feel ignored or that she doesn't love me or that I did something wrong or that I am needy. this doesn't go away, I am emotionally needy and she doesn't seem to have emotions at all except stress / frustration
- she dresses normally, paints her nails but not too fancy, she is not like autism ugly pragmatic
- when I tell her that I need this and that she changes her behavior but only for a short time
- when she drinks alcohol she changes quickly, is much more relaxed and happy, smiles more and is much more social. its very strong, the change
- she shows her affection more in acts, like putting her head on my shoulder, giving me a massage, generally if I tell her like something she does it
- she doesn't have many friends and its hard to maintain a conversation with her. when I am with her (we travelled for 5 days) we usually don't speak much and enjoy the silence
- she just never seems to seek my proximity, its drives me nuts, it makes me very unhappy and doubt myself, even after 5 months of relationship and i'm thinking of quitting for my own good, even though I adore her so much

Any advice? what do you guys think?
Maybe she is just not into me and i'm over-interpreting it because I cant face that fact. I mean we see each other 3x a week, its just not enough for me as there is barely any emotion.

To me it sounds like friends with benefits. I am like this with my boyfriend I tend to ignore him not in a hurtful way just don't want to bother with conversation. I love him but only tell him when i feel especially emotional or when he brings it up.

No i don't and im a guy, most women i get involved with are normal but some are like me. I find life boring and while the initial stages are nice but relationships get boring. I still care but not as much as i did. Its odd but its life. Best choice is to tell her how you feel it wont do much but you'll see where you stand.

could be on the spectrum... a couple of my good friends have aspergers... nothing wrong with it... they are just a bit awkward socially... and they also were often late and seem to be daydreaming or take forever in walmart things like that

girlfriend

Just because you take care of a mental patient doesn't mean that you're her boyfriend.
