So I picked up an Aspire Atlantis with the CF Sub Ohm battery and I noticed the coils after about 2 days of use begin to give me a burning/cotton taste that is pretty nasty. It isn't because the juice isn't making it to the coil fast enough, I've confirmed it. I'm using 80/20 VG/PG.

Another question is, should I boil my Organic Cotton before trying to use them as wicks?

Organic cotton does not need to be boiled, also sub ohm tanks heat up faster so they may burn faster than what you are used to.

Are u sure you're sucking the air fast enough? If you do it too slow the liquid overheats and burns.

Well, I do inhale slow most of the time for more smoke. But even if I did a big lung hit fast, same outcome.

If it is actual organic cotton, then you dont have to. You can if you want though it wont hurt anything.

organic does not mean the cotton is not bleached. Organic refers to the growing process only. That said, no most cotton does not need a wash. Organic or not.
