Do you believe in luck or that there are lucky and unlucky people? I never rely on my luck and don't really believe in it but simultaneously I think if it comes down to luck I will always lose. Ever since I was a kid if 10 of my buddies did something outside the rules and I did it too, I'd get caught. This has held up throughout my life. In a way maybe it has made me a better person since I always assume fate will fuck me and I need to be prepared but what about you?

If ten other people get away with something and you don't, it's probably because you're an idiot.

Which means even when "luck" is on your side, you probably won't be smart enough to capitalize on the opportunity.

tldr; You're not unlucky, you're stupid. Set yourself up in a career you can handle and don't take risks.
