Just because phones happen to tell time doesn't make them a suitable timepiece. (Yes it does, they will always have an accurate time and almost never need to be manually adjusted) Phones have to be charged every day, can often discharge and be useless in the middle of the day. (Are you forgetting that you use a phone for other purposes aswell? I always keep my phone fully charged, not for the time but for its other functions too) Phones can not be brought into the shower or the pool.(who needs to check the time in a shower? The pool is fair enough I guess but people rarely need to check the time in the pool, even fewer swim) Phones should not be checked in places where a lighted screen is disruptive (theatres, for example) (You can dim your phone so it doesn't create any light, the light is not what annoys people anyway, its the noise). Phones cannot be used and carried every single day for multiple generations. (KeK people get new phones when their old ones become too old or broken you plebs).
