When I see a truly beautiful girl, I feel a moment's warmth and excitement, but then it's usually followed by deep despondence and depression. I can't help think to myself that I will never be that beautiful. Nor will I ever be loved by someone that beautiful.

I have an entire folder with thousands of pictures of women so beautiful I find it hard to believe we even belong to the same species. It almost hurts to look at them. It's like having pictures of incredibly striking and heavenly places captioned with a reminder that I will never ever get to visit them.

It hurts, not just metaphorically, but literally. It physically hurts. Yet for all that I can't just change my values. Even though I know I can't attain it, I also can't change how important beauty actually is to me. God damn I'm the most pathetic human being there is.
