I hate their fascist government and how they accuse actual democracies of fascism.

Russians are ok, imo, but the current government has suppressed any alternative and now they look like the only option, effectively turning it into the autocracy it is.

Have you brainwashed stereotypes ever noticed that you always speak the mouth your media does?

You mean the Russian population, right?

I don't read newspapers calling Russia fascist, but their behaviour is simply fascist.
You can take it or leave it, but Putin is closer to Hitler than anyone in Europe by far.

Facts are hard to swallow, but why don't you try at least for once.

Next you will say it's Putin has nothing to do with the Ukraine situation.

He's a liar and not to be trusted ever. Look what happened with Crimea. That stealthy KGB bitch denied all involvement at first and now it's part of Russia.

For that cyka Cold War never ended.

OP could be some CIA scumbag... It's known that the CIA creates fake troll accounts on twitter. It's also true that the israeli government offers SCHOLARSHIPS to people who do the best pro-israel internet trolling.
Look up the term "hasbara".

The only thing that really annoys me about Russia is their anti-gay stance. Not gay, but come the fuck on. It doesn't matter. Other than that, Putin is entertaining. The Spetsnaz are some of the most badass people on the planet. Russian music is pretty cool as well. And their history is brutal.

There's a lot wrong with Russia...but at least it's not The Congo.

speaking of which, I hate israel because it is basically north korea, but the US gives it large amounts of aid, rather than economic warfare.

It could be a lot better than Congo if they didn't slain opposition leaders, bashed gay people's skulls and corruption was dealt with instead of sponsored by the government.

i mean everybody
I don't read newspapers calling Russia fascist, but their behaviour is simply fascist.
so is the american behavior and any other who runs a nation
You can take it or leave it, but Putin is closer to Hitler than anyone in Europe by far.
in greece you saw demonstraions with angela merkel dressed as hitler, so it depends.
Facts are hard to swallow, but why don't you try at least for once.
because not every fact is a truth.
Next you will say it's Putin has nothing to do with the Ukraine situation.
of corse he has, he allways mentioned it since he was the russian president
He's a liar and not to be trusted ever.
who is not in the politics?
Look what happened with Crimea. That stealthy KGB bitch denied all involvement at first and now it's part of Russia.
90% of the people living there were russian. giving up crimera would mean giving up an important geostratetic area
For that cyka Cold War never ended.

He keeps his people in a constant state of fear; he keeps the Russians from bettering themselves, all because he yearns for the 'halcyon' days of Communist Russia. Fuck Putin.

He keeps people in fear?

Say you're walking down a dark alley and some dudes come out and try to mug you. But unknown to them, Putin is your bae. He crushes the muggers with the fist of Mother Russia. Putin Senpai just saved you from the evils of the world.

That's how he treats Russia. Except instead of muggers, it's the world.

Ok. I'm going to try to instil some sense in your brainwashed skull.

1. Everybody includes you. Of course you don't think this way, because a stereotypical Russian will deny the existence of reality itself before admiting he/she's wrong.

2. I couldn't understand this point. I read the ny times. I only know what non independent Russian press says through them (i.e. 'Nemstov was jewish, so maybe a muslim killed him... Yeah. Totally not someone Kremlin aligned.', etc.

3. So what? Calling nazi a German is an insult, so what? I can call Putin a fascist and that doesn't make him so. He's a fascist because of his actions, not because of what other people say. Angela Merkel, despite her lack of good economic insight, is one of the most restrained politicians to be ever born. She didn't even sent troops to Libya in 2011 though everybody on the UN agreed on stablishing the no fly zone. So your point was?

4.
because not every fact is a truth.
You DENSE motherfucker. A fact is by definition truth! Truth is not what your fascist leader spergs. Facts and truth is what reality determines, not your fucking overlord.

5. Ok. We agree in this point. However he lies. He's been saying he hasn't sent any weapons, personnel to the place. So he's a liar. As everybody in the world knows by now. Except people that only watch the government owned TV stations.
6.
He's a liar and not to be trusted ever.
A politician from a democratic country shouldn't be. So fuck off. Specially not when it comes to sign cease fire agreements just to violate them the next day. You fuck.

7.
90% of the people living there were russian.
You invaded a foreign country, you fucking fascist! Eat lead. Also, that % is false and taken straight from your icy ass.

8.
nor it does for murrica
Russia is the only one looking for confrontation. That the media you have access to say otherwise is not my problem.
Read independent newspapers if you want to stop being a kremlin lapdog.

I'm fucking off. Argue with Russians on the internet, specially the ex-KGB lapdogs, is exhausting.

Enjoy your totalitarian government. I'll enjoy membership in a union of free state with free movement and plenty of civil liberties.

Dictating smaller countries because they want to progress their society and break from the old communist ways, killing fags and assassinating opposing politicians is not painting a pretty picture for you slavs.

Actually surprised my country is the only country who responded to this Ukrainian shit by actually sending Brit troops on the ground there to train Ukrainian soldiers while everyone else is standing around with their dicks in their hands.

Ukrainian

not only you but its nice to see some response from at least few EU countries. We cannot defeat them but we can slow them till they are too big threats to ignore. Try dodging nuke Putin

I don't hate Russia, they are playing the game, just like we are. They do good and evil, just like we do.

I have very little respect for those narrow minded people from either country who believe that their country is good and the other is evil.

If it came down to an all-out war, I would gladly kill and die for my country though. This is my home, this is where I grew up, where my family has lived for hundreds of years. If you won't fight to defend your home, then you're a coward. Politics need not apply.

sad to see shit like this going on in your country. i understand that Ukrainians have always grown up under the communist shadow of Russia therefore many of them dont want change, however its the educated and younger generation who are wanting to break from this. its ugly and there are opposing ideas for both sides.

whats so wrong in splitting the country in half where Russian supporters can stay while the other half can progress and become a part of the EU?

It's come to a point now where Russia is being hurt a lot financially from these sanctions thrown at them. there has to be a point where Putin will step in after seeing how much of a waste of time this has been.
