Been dating an amazing girl for 2 months now. My first serious relationship. She just recently introduced me to her parents and they were really nice. Now she wants to meet my parents and I keep putting it off. I'm running out of excuses and she's getting suspicious. Here's the problem: my stepdad was born with mild Down's syndrome. He's able to have a job and function. But he has the Down's facial features and talks kinda funny and has a big tongue. Its highly embarrassing and don't know what to do. I really would rather not tell her, let alone have her meet him.

Dont see what there is to be nervous about, think it'd hurt your stepdad more if he knew you were hiding him from people, family comes first dude

The worst part is that these terribly sad stories happen every day.
Probably a couple hours ago, a child was killed in Ukraine when a rocket hit their apartment, and no one will ever hear their story.
