Up to now I've just assumed that it was a different type of thinking; problems with any kind of social activity but often with enhancements to the logical side.

But a facebook friend just posted this, a birthday card from his autistic cousin. To me this looks like down syndrome, but it certainly made me question my beliefs.

I've been doing a lot of thinking on why people want to feel happy. And I've figured it out. No matter how much you want to believe it, nothing matters, we live and die and even if god existed it still wouldn't matter. So when people feel happy they don't care whether anything matters or not, it deters them from even thinking these thoughts. Everybody wants to feel happy because of this basic idea.

Why can't atheists define atheism? Also, congrats on posting this thread again. What the fuck did you just say...
