It was a piece of land bought by the US in africa and colonized by blacks with the economic help of the US. Eventually liberia become independent, but they have a similar flag to the US because of it's roots.

Now, compare US to Liberia, a country well known for it's cannibalism, civil wars, and poor economy. Why would you think any nigger would go back to Africa? they stay in US because they know (as they ancestor did) that is better to deal with racism than living by yourself.
