America is finished.

So it's clear that America is now a third world country. The only civilized country with more children living in poverty is Romania, which is a communist shit-hole.

Loads of things wrong with USA, but it's easier for them to close their eyes and keep going instead of keeping them open to realise the shithole they're walking deeper into

make it illegal to hire children
complain about children being poor

in the usa it's illegal to for children to earn money working at a job, therefore how can we complain that children are living in poverty. if children were working there would be fewer children in poverty because they would just get off food stamps and feed themselves.

Yeah this country is just filled with greed and a population fooled by conservative news media that vilifies things like unions that are supposed to help the lower/middle class. We have a growing income gap and most americans hold little of the wealth that increasingly goes to the top. I'm not complaining too much, we still have it fairly good here but I'm in no illusion we're the top anymore, especially for the average american.

>>1 Yeah, they're called niggers.

Seriously, it's a nigger cultural thing that ALL of them strive to be on government aid, government housing, and food stamps. And if you're a nigger, you're usually automatically accepted. White people have to jump through hoops for government aid in America, for niggers, it's just given.

Then niggers cry that they don't get reparations. I guarantee the total value of food stamps and government aid that a nigger consumes in the course of his life is probably equivalent to 40 acres and a mule.

So...
Child labour is a better stamp on your country than child poverty?

Most 1st world countries probably have some laws against children working. Thing about USA is that there's a shit-ton of lower-class people with lower-class children; hence they are considered poor.

Why does being on food stamps imply living in poverty? I know people who are on food stamps, and they're relatively comfortable. Anyway, poverty in the US is a lot different than poverty in other countries.

The bipartisan political scene in the US caters SOLELY to the plutocrat oil/munitions/big business oligarchy.

They work against the poor and middle class as best as they can, they're usually hired basically to advance ideas against the best interests of the poor and middle class, but make them think they're advancing the interests of the poor.

The wars, dismantling the unions, the wall street bailouts, the banking bailouts, the federal reserve.... all are fucking poor and middle class people over, but the Republicans and Democrats "sell" it to the public as being in their best interests.

The weaker the unions, the weaker the pay for commoners. As unions have been gradually worn down since the 50s pay scales for middle class and poors have been at best stagnant (but usually plummeting), while the ultra rich business owners have seen their profits go through the roof.

America is a shitty place. I suspect there would mass immigrations out of the US if any of us could afford it..... but you need 10K minimum to get set up in another nation and most of us are far to poor to ever get out...

Yes, and i wish so much americans can see they are being robbed. Do they think its a coincidence that as union membership dropped so did our incomes? I'm not sure how long this trend can continue, as most of us will hold so little there won't be any money to keep the economy moving. I don't think the capital holders are worried about that so much though. On another note, after the recession, sure jobs are coming back, but guess what? Most of them are service related jobs with no unions to help negotiate better conditions. Of course the conservative media is there to crush that idea saying they are all too lazy to find better work.

The worst part is being aware of this and watching many americans blindly jumping on board with the robbing of their own nation.

Because american politics have managedto create a system where they are openly corrupt and so no one cares or give a shit.

The campaigs of presidential candidates is sponsored by the rich. In return, they only want some key positions in the bureaucratic mess if that candidate win.

And from these positions they are able impact the politics in the way that benefits them to keep the whole corrupted circle going.

I don't think you understand that if the parents say they rely on them to feed their kids they get them 95% of the time.

The issue is not that they can't feed their kids, it's that they know that the government will do it for them so they can buy whatever the fuck they want with the money the parents should be spending on their children.

Romania isn't communist

not every country that isn't the US or hyper capitalist like the US is communist.

there are only 4 communist countries in the world today and one it more a personality cult then communism (North Korea)

Problem with America is its politics. It's polarised.

For example if you say that a universal free healthcare system is a good thing, you get straw manned into being a liberal hippie who thinks everyone should get handouts and not have to try for anything.

If you say a minimum wage is a good way to start tackling the inequality gap, you are a liberal hippie who thinks everyone should get free handouts.

They won't listen to an argument or have a discussion about the merits of either system. They just tow the party line hard and try to belittle the person (not the argument) in opposition.
