The new issues of Charlie Hebdo magazine is out this week, but because the British and American media is too scared of 'offending' somebody to stand in union with the rest of Europe and show these cartoons you will never see the cover unless you use the imageboards.

Being Anti-Islam is not Racist.

Being Anti-Islam does not necessarily mean being Anti-Muslim.

Many Muslims don't abide by the violent parts of Islam. Some do. The problem is Islam.

Islam is a barbaric ideology that is incompatible with western values and inspires.

The term "Muslim Terrorist" is a bigoted or 'racist' term. It is not accurate, since there are simply terrorists, and their race, religion, or nationality is really quite irrelevant.

I am a white canadian male who is somewhat educated in what REAL islam is all about. I am not islamic, and I am not trying to defend religion, just tell the truth.

The actual islamic religion is one which promotes peace and condemns violence. When you examine them closely, islam and christianity share many similarities as far as moral values, and even some of the religious stories are similar.

The "islam" that these radicalized faggots claim to be a part of is made up by terrorist extremists to recruit these people to join them. They go along with it because they have been brought up as very religious people, and don't want to displease their god. They think what they are doing is the real islam, when really, it's all just terrorist propaganda.

These violent verses DO exist in the Koran.

This comedian, however, has a history of targeting and defaming prominent jewish figures, and has been convicted numerous times for defamation, slander, and racism targeted towards Jews.

One of his more serious escapades was him calling a journalist a "jew that belongs in a gas chamber" guy had it coming to be honest.

The ones about Muhammad himself requesting the death of nay-sayers are outside the Koran, and whether they are apocryphal or not is a matter of much debate. That much I know.

And the Charlie Hebdo cover is all over the news everywhere I don't know what this thread is about.

This is the main difference between "freedom of speech" in the USA and Europe.

In the USA you can say just about anything unless it directly threatens national security.

In Europe there's a line between 'free speech' and 'hate speech'.

In the UK you have free speech until some Muslims kill you!

This line makes these cases way more complicated, especially when the subject is deliberately trying to provoke authorities by saying things that are, well, balancing on the edge of the appropriate.

The US has been supporting Islamic fundamentalism for so long. They supported jihadists in Afghanistan to repel the Russians. They supported Saudi Arabia who made Bin Laden and AlQaeda
