Usually everyone in Europe is used to headlines about shootings in the USA, and nobody takes the "race war" shit seriously, but with all these recent protests and killings, I am starting to wonder if america can get a grip on its racism problem at all.

Not only that but the US has many people who seriously believe all the old-school conservative values and would probably jump at the chance for open season on black people.

What is even stranger is that america has a black leader, which is something that no european country ever has, but the race problem is worse than ever. What is wrong with you america? Can you just not get over the civil war?

Institutional Racism.

The US used to be incredibly racist. It's still racist, but it's getting better. We've eliminated segregation and Jim Crow, but the problems we now have are that minorities can only really afford to live in the cheap ass shitty projects, and crime is through the roof in the projects. So things like drugs affect the hood as equally as they do rural bumfucknowhere, but because there is more crime in the city there are more police, more police = more arrests for drugs, more arrests = fewer jobs you can hold, and the cycle of poverty continues.

In my opinion, we need to reach into the hood and pull out the people who have a chance at breaking that cycle and support them. Otherwise poverty is directly linked with race

The closes thing to race war we've seen is the Furgeson riots. Which is really unfortunate because this hoodlum is the least worthy of out sympathy as he was in the wrong on multiple accounts but the media has such a heyday with it that the facts didn't matter anymore.

Tl;dr - Theres no rhyme or reason to how heavily they react to these high profile cases. The Media plays a heavy roll in this. Race war kind of depends on how much support the next high profile case resonates with people who aren't angry niggers.
