On light to all this Sony hacking and The Interview nonsense going on...I'd like to take a moment to sit back and ask: Exactly WHOM benefits from all of this?

Is there a group, other than North Korea, that could be benefiting from completely destroying Sony? If Sony were to go out of the picture, which competition would jump up and take its place, bringing in the big dough? Or, if it's about raising tensions between countries, which country benefits the most by getting Japan (Sony), the US, and North Korea riled up and at one each others throats?

An email from Bennett, the Rand analyst, to Lynton suggested that the film could actually help unseat the North Korean regime. “I have been clear that the assassination of Kim Jong Un is the most likely path to a collapse of the North Korean government,” Bennett wrote. “I believe that a story that talks about the removal of the Kim family regime and the creation of a new government by the North Korean people (well, at least the elites) will start some real thinking in South Korea and, I believe, in the North once the DVD leaks into the North (which it almost certainly will).”

This movie is already the most underrated of 2014, overshadowed by controversy.

Just finished watching it, it was incredibly funny, but at the end, there was still a big message, understanding what the people of Korea might believe, and the leader's personnal part in it. Sure it's not a true story, but still worth thinking. 8,0/10
