In all honesty there is nothing great about modern USA : The only army to have actually used the fucking atomic bomb (twice) on innocent civilians, raid the middle-east everything they need oil, ally with Israel and gives them weapons in order to reap innocent palestinians of their own land.

You're quite right about some things, truth is, as long as there is power there will be powerabuse, the US took the power from divided European nations during ww1>interbellum>ww2>cold war.

They didn't have the struggles European nations had because Americans feel more like American citizens and Europeans don't see themselves as Europeans.

China annexed Manchuria (it is long ago so it is basicly as Chinese as China) but also Tibet. It still does not recognise Taiwan as a sovereign nation. Russia annexed Crimea.
